Is it okay to take glucosamine after rhinoplasty?

Yes, you can. Taking glucosamine after a rhinoplasty will not alter the changes made to your nose.

From what we know about glucosamine through the FDA, it may have a mild effect on joint (hyaline) cartilage. This same type of cartilage also happens to be present in the septum of your nose. Studies performed and presented to the FDA were based on joint studies and not the nose. They indicate that glucosamine may slow degradation of cartilage, not rebuild it.

Glucosamine is also thought to increase levels of chondroitin sulfate, another substance often taken to help joints. Chondroitin sulfate is also thought to slow degradation rather than re-grow cartilage.

So, it is possible that these two substances could make your joints last longer, but it is unlikely that they will rebuild them. The same could be implied for your nose.
