FTM Body Contouring Las Vegas

Las Vegas body contouring specialist Dr. Pancholi can help you achieve a more masculine physique

Achieving a more traditionally masculine physique that better reflects your true self is possible. Las Vegas cosmetic surgeon Dr. Samir Pancholi is highly experienced in advanced, less-invasive body contouring techniques that allow him to sculpt the body in great detail, so you can feel more confident in your appearance every day.

Body masculinization with VASER Liposelection

Men are genetically programmed to store fat differently than women, making it difficult for many trans men to achieve their desired physique, even with hormones and time spent at the gym. Dr. Pancholi can help achieve more a masculine torso shape with VASER Liposelection. Changes he can make include:

  • Sculpting fat to narrow the hips and achieve a broader chest appearance
  • Removing fat from the buttocks to create a more androgynous shape
  • Sculpting the hips and thighs to lift the waistline and achieve a straighter lower body form
  • Remove bra rolls
  • Sculpt the chest and abs to reveal underlying musculature

Many FTM patients choose to have body masculinization performed at the same time as breast removal for a more complete top surgery result.

  • Gender Congruence: FTM Top Surgery helps align your physical appearance with your gender identity.
  • Increased Comfort: Eliminating the need for binding, which can be uncomfortable and even harmful over long periods, this surgery provides lasting physical comfort.
  • Broader Clothing Options: The surgery expands wardrobe choices, allowing individuals to comfortably wear a broader range of clothing styles without the need for binding or concealing garments.
  • Increased Physical Activity: Without the discomfort and constraints of breast tissue or binding, individuals can engage more freely and comfortably in physical and athletic activities.
  • Reduction in Gender Dysphoria: The alignment of physical characteristics with gender identity can significantly reduce experiences of gender dysphoria.
  • Personal Empowerment: Undergoing FTM Top Surgery can be an empowering decision for many, symbolizing control over one’s body and identity.
  • Anesthesia – Medication used to prevent pain during surgery. It can be general (making you unconscious) or local (numbing a specific area).
  • Body Contouring – A range of procedures aimed at reshaping various areas of the body.
  • Body Masculinization Surgery – A set of surgical procedures aimed at giving the body a more traditionally masculine appearance. This can include liposuction, fat grafting, and contouring techniques.
  • Chest Reconstruction – Surgery to modify the chest, often a key component of FTM body contouring. It may involve breast removal (mastectomy) and chest reshaping.
  • Donor Site – The area of the body where tissue is taken from during a procedure, such as skin grafts or fat transfer.
  • Hormone Therapy – Treatment involving the use of hormones to support gender transition. This may impact the results and approach to body contouring.
  • Liposuction – A procedure to remove excess fat from specific areas of the body, often used in body contouring.
  • Mastectomy – Surgical removal of breast tissue. In FTM body contouring, this is done to create a more masculine chest contour.
  • Testosterone – A male sex hormone often used in hormone therapy for FTM transitions.
  • Top Surgery – A term often used in the transgender community to refer to chest reconstruction surgery.

Am I ready for female to male body surgery?

The best candidates for body masculinization are at least 18 years old, in good overall health, and fully committed to their transformation. It’s important to have realistic expectations. While Dr. Pancholi is highly skilled and can make dramatic, detailed improvements with liposuction, your natural anatomy will factor into the final result. For example, if you started with very prominent hourglass figure, it is unlikely that you can achieve a complete “V-shaped” male torso with liposuction alone.

Can I have FTM surgery if I’m taking hormones?

If you are currently taking hormones or plan to in the future, tell Dr. Pancholi. Although prior hormone therapy is not required to undergo FTM body contouring, many patients experience changes to their body shape as a result of taking male hormones. You and Dr. Pancholi may decide it’s best to wait until you are sure what effect this will have on your physique. Additionally, it is essential to disclose all hormones and medications you are taking before undergoing any procedure. You may be required to stop hormone therapy temporarily to ensure your safety during and after surgery.
