Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty Las Vegas

Non-surgical rhinoplasty is a safe and effective way to temporarily reduce the appearance of nasal defects while correcting asymmetry and providing a more balanced look to the face. If you want to improve the structure of your nose without surgery, or if you want to preview what rhinoplasty could look like on your face, consider a liquid nose job.

What is a non-surgical nose job?

Instead of performing surgery, a surgeon performs a non-surgical nose job by strategically injecting a few simple doses of filler into your nose.

  • Immediate Results: Unlike surgical rhinoplasty, the results of a non-surgical nose job are visible immediately after the procedure.
  • No Downtime: There is little to no downtime required, allowing patients to return to their daily activities shortly after the treatment.
  • Less Risk: Being non-invasive, this procedure carries fewer risks compared to surgical rhinoplasty, such as less risk of infection or complications from anesthesia.
  • Temporary: For those unsure about permanent changes, the temporary nature of non-surgical rhinoplasty allows them to try a new nose shape without a long-term commitment.
  • No Scarring: Since there are no incisions, there is no risk of external scarring.
  • Cost-Effective: Generally, non-surgical rhinoplasty is less expensive than surgical options.
  • Subtle Enhancement: It’s ideal for making small adjustments or improvements to the nasal shape, such as smoothing out a dorsal hump or lifting the tip.
  • Pain and Discomfort Minimized: The procedure is generally less painful than a surgical rhinoplasty, often requiring only topical anesthesia.
  • Dermal Fillers: Injectable substances used in non-surgical rhinoplasty to alter and enhance the shape of the nose without invasive surgery. Common fillers include hyaluronic acid-based products.
  • Hyaluronic Acid: A naturally occurring substance in the body, used in dermal fillers for non-surgical rhinoplasty due to its compatibility and temporary nature.
  • Liquid Rhinoplasty: Another term for non-surgical rhinoplasty, referring to the use of injectable fillers to reshape the nose.
  • Nasal Bridge: The upper bony part of the nose, which can be augmented or reshaped in non-surgical rhinoplasty using fillers.
  • Nasal Tip: The end part of the nose, which can be reshaped or refined in non-surgical rhinoplasty for a more aesthetically pleasing appearance.
  • Non-Surgical: Referring to procedures that do not involve surgery or incisions, like non-surgical rhinoplasty, which uses injectable fillers instead.
  • Nose Job: A colloquial term for rhinoplasty, a surgical procedure to change the shape of the nose. Non-surgical nose jobs refer to using fillers for similar purposes without surgery.
  • Rhinoplasty: Commonly known as a nose job, it is a surgical procedure to change the shape or structure of the nose. Non-surgical rhinoplasty is a less invasive alternative.
  • Ski Slope Nose: A term used to describe a nose with a pronounced slope and sometimes a slightly upturned tip. Non-surgical rhinoplasty can be used to modify this shape.
  • Topical Anesthetic: A numbing cream applied to the skin to minimize discomfort during procedures like non-surgical rhinoplasty.
  • Touch-Up Treatments: Additional filler injections that may be necessary after the initial non-surgical rhinoplasty to maintain or adjust the results.

What can a liquid nose job correct?

Non-surgical rhinoplasty can:

  • Make the bridge of your nose appear smoother
  • Make the tip of your nose appear thinner
  • Give your nose a slightly upturned appearance
  • Create a more symmetrical, proportionate nose shape

What are the benefits of liquid rhinoplasty?

Liquid rhinoplasty comes with nearly all of the benefits of traditional rhinoplasty, plus the following:

  • Performed in minutes
  • Instant results
  • Significantly lower cost
  • Little to no downtime
  • Back to work the same day
  • Pain-free
  • No sutures or incisions
  • No anesthesia

What are the drawbacks of non-surgical rhinoplasty?

While liquid rhinoplasty has advantages over traditional rhinoplasty, it cannot improve the function of the nose or provide results that last longer than 1 year. Additionally, liquid rhinoplasty cannot reduce the size of your nose. If you are interested in downsizing your nose, you may want to consider surgical rhinoplasty.

When can I see the results of my liquid rhinoplasty?

You’ll begin to see the results of your liquid rhinoplasty instantly. As initial swelling from your injections dissipates over the next few days, your results will become more visible, with full results evident after about 4 weeks.

How long does a non-surgical nose job last?

The results of a non-surgical nose job typically last 1 year or more, depending on the filler used. Dr. Pancholi will discuss which filler will work best for your unique liquid rhinoplasty. You can receive follow-up injections once a year to maintain optimal results.

What is the recovery like?

Instead of using general anesthesia like in traditional rhinoplasty, your cosmetic surgeon will apply a topical numbing cream to your nose prior to performing injections.

You may return to your normal activities immediately following your procedure but should refrain from strenuous physical activity for the first few days. Also, be sure to sleep on your side or back and avoid wearing sunglasses for the first few days after your injections.

What are the risks of liquid rhinoplasty?

Swelling, redness, tenderness, and bruising are all normal side effects and should dissipate within a few days. More serious complications like infections, blindness, and tissue necrosis are possible but very rare.

The results and safety of dermal filler injections are highly dependent on the injector, and because injections can be performed by any medical doctor—including general practitioners and dermatologists—it is especially important to choose a skilled injector. In order to avoid complications and to get exceptional results, choose a cosmetic surgeon with experience performing non-surgical rhinoplasty.

What procedures can enhance a non-surgical rhinoplasty?

If you are avoiding surgery but want to enhance other parts of your face, dermal fillers are a great cosmetic alternative. You can combine your non-surgical nose job with filler injections in other areas of your face—such as your upper cheeks, nasolabial folds (smile lines), and under your eyes—to restore lost volume and smooth fine lines and wrinkles. Plus, since you’ll already be receiving filler injections in your nose, you can save time by having them applied elsewhere.

If you are considering surgery for long-term enhancements to your face, these procedures can greatly complement a liquid rhinoplasty:
