20/20 Inquires About Self-Administered Cosmetics

Lots of people admire a “do-it-yourself” attitude or work ethic, but in certain situations that approach can backfire.  When it comes to cosmetic surgery – even with minimally invasive treatments – you’re always in better hands with a qualified surgeon.

People at 20/20 are asking “Have you tried do-it yourself plastic surgery?” Are products like Restylane, Juvederm, and Botox  being obtained online and then self administered?

We sincerely hope nobody, in Las Vegas or elsewhere, has taken it upon themselves to do this kind of thing.  Injectable treatments like Botox might seem easy and quite comfortable in our office, but attempting to perform them yourself is unwise.  When the person administering treatment doesn’t know proper injection techniques, the risks are significant.
