The ideal male body shape is considered to be trim and athletic-looking, with broad shoulders and chest, a flat abdomen, and a narrow hip and waist area. However, as men age, areas of fat tend to accumulate around the abdomen, waist, lower back, chest (a condition called pseudo-gynecomastia), and along the chin and neck. Male Liposuction can help sculpt these areas back to a more youthful and athletic look.
Liposuction works by reshaping the body by removing fat that lies between the skin and muscles. The goal isn’t to remove every bit of fat, but to sculpt a better physique. Dr. Pancholi performs liposuction in a fully accredited surgery center for maximum safety, comfort, and privacy.

About the liposuction procedure in Las Vegas, NV
Liposuction is performed by first placing tumescent fluid (a mixture of saline solution, lidocaine (anesthetic), and epinephrine, which constricts blood vessels) throughout the fat layer. Excess fat is then removed with varying techniques to sculpt the body into a better physique. Some of the tumescent fluid comes out with the fat, and some stays behind. The fluid that stays behind will be absorbed by your body or drip from the tiny incisions used during the procedure (the more fluid that comes out, the less your body has to absorb). As the fluid disappears, the swelling will decrease and you will start to see more and more of your new shape.
In many cases, Dr. Pancholi will use VASER liposelection, an ultrasound assisted technique that provides him with greater precision when sculpting the body, allowing him to create the shadows, curves, and lines that make the difference between just a “thinner” look and a sculpted, fit body. Additionally, the heat generated from the ultrasonic energy helps shrink the skin to a greater extent than tumescent liposuction alone, translating to better skin tone & appearance with your new slimmer shape.
Benefits Of Male Liposuction in Summerlin, NV
Liposuction can effectively reshape and contour areas where men commonly accumulate fat, such as the abdomen, flanks (love handles), chest, and neck, leading to a more toned and athletic appearance. This procedure allows for targeted removal of stubborn fat deposits that are resistant to diet and exercise, offering precise body sculpting. Other benefits include:
- Enhanced Muscle Definition:By removing excess fat layers, underlying muscle definition can become more visible, contributing to a more fit and muscular look.
- Minimally Invasive with Quick Recovery: Liposuction is less invasive compared to other surgical fat removal procedures, often resulting in a quicker recovery time.
- Motivation for a Healthy Lifestyle:The improved body shape can motivate men to maintain a healthy lifestyle, including regular exercise and a balanced diet.
- Reduced Appearance of Gynecomastia:For men with excess fat in the chest area (a condition known as gynecomastia), liposuction can help achieve a flatter, more traditionally masculine chest contour.

“So, one of the most common procedures that we do on men is liposuction. How do we go and take all of the hours that we put into the gym and then finish it? Sometimes we have trouble spots that we want to get rid of — liposuction of the chest, the abdomen to get that nice etched look, or just the love handles that won’t go away no matter how much you’re running. Those are the most common things that we do, and getting rid of those will make that shirt sit a whole lot nicer — whether it’s a t-shirt, a dress shirt, a suit, what have you. You can finally start getting that confident look that you’ve been working on the whole time.”–Dr. Samir Pancholi

How long does it take to recover from Henderson, NV liposuction?
You will feel achy and sore for the first 5-7 days. We encourage you to walk often after surgery, as this helps the fluid come out and burdens your body less. Soreness and swelling will decrease little by little over the next 3-4 weeks as your new shape starts to reveal itself. During this time, your skin will shrink and may feel itchy. Also, after surgery, you will be placed in an “Under Armor” type compression garment to help to squeeze and smooth out the tissue while minimizing swelling. You will wear this for the next 4-6 weeks, or until everything settles down.
Your shape will continue to develop and improve over the next 3-6 months as your body continues to heal. Dr. Pancholi will tell you how much fat has been removed so you can have a better idea of what your new weight after liposuction is and to provide a new reference point for weight gain and loss.
In many cases, liposuction alone can effectively correct “problem areas,” as men tend to retain their skin elasticity well. Others who have had dramatic changes may feel their skin is loose. In this case, further body contouring or face and neck contouring surgery, such as abdominoplasty or submentoplasty, may be needed to trim away the excess skin and smooth out the body contour.

“So, liposuction, even though it’s one of our most common procedures that we do, is one of those procedures that requires a lot of the patient afterward. Although I want to make sure that you have all of the right curves when you get home, there’s a lot in hand. You want to make sure that you’re in your garment, that you’re wrapped in your foam properly, that you’re getting your massages, that you’re making sure your skin is being taken care of. We don’t want to have wrinkles or creases or anything else. If you’re bending or flexing at home, then that crease that’s in your garment is ending up being a crease in you.
So, there’s a lot of faith that I put in you that you’re going to go home and take care of yourself, and all of your support team is also looking out for you and making sure you heal well and come out the way you’ve always dreamed of.”–Dr. Samir Pancholi
