VASER Liposelection Las Vegas

Dr. Pancholi uses VASER® Liposuction for better sculpting & quicker recovery

VASER Lipo uses a process called LipoSelection® to target specific areas of fat throughout the body. It’s powerful enough to target large areas of fat, yet gentle enough to also treat delicate areas of the body, such as the neck and arms.

Using this advanced technique to assist his finely tuned skills, Dr. Pancholi can better sculpt a fit, athletic appearance in men and women by removing fat around muscle groups and making muscles more defined. This works best as a finishing touch.

How is VASER Better for Me?

Typical liposuction aggressively removes fat, which can damage surrounding tissues and impose a longer recovery period. VASER Lipo is tissue-selective, meaning it can specifically target fat, while protecting nerves, blood vessels and connective tissues from damage. As a result, you will experience significantly less pain and bruising and a quicker return to your normal activities.

Understanding how VASER Liposelection works

VASER Lipo uses ultrasonic energy to selectively break apart and gently remove unwanted fat.

The area to be treated is injected with a special saline solution known as “tumescent fluid.” This contains anesthetic that numbs the target area and shrinks nearby blood vessels. It also temporarily expands the volume of the targeted area, making fat cells easier to remove.

Small-diameter ultrasonic tubes, called “cannulae” are then inserted through small incisions. By resonating at a high ultrasonic frequency, the cannulae loosen fat cells while leaving surrounding tissue unharmed. The loosened fat cells are then removed from the body using gentle suction.

After surgery, Dr. Pancholi will give you a recovery plan to promote maximum skin retraction and smooth results. Most likely, you will need to wear a compression garment on the treated area for the first few weeks. Dr. Pancholi may recommend massage therapy to enhance results and speed recovery.

What body areas can be treated with VASER Lipo?

Because VASER Liposelection allows for very fine sculpting, areas that can be treated with regular tumescent liposuction can also be treated:

  • Face, Chin & Neck
  • Abdomen, Back, & Chest
  • Hips, Buttocks & Lovehandles
  • Breasts for male & female breast reduction
  • Arms
  • Inner & Outer Thighs
  • Knees, Calves & Ankles

How much fat can be taken? Can you treat multiple areas at once?

Multiple body areas can usually be treated in one surgery. Overall, two factors limit how much liposuction Dr. Pancholi can perform in a single operation: the total amount of fat that is expected to be removed and how many different areas are going to be treated. Each factor will require the body’s healing resources and too much of either can limit a safe recovery.

Bear in mind that liposuction is not intended as a weight loss solution. The goal is to create a slimmer silhouette. You may not notice a significant amount of weight loss, but you should be pleased with your slimmer new shape.

How soon will I see my results? What is the recovery time?

This can vary with the number of areas treated and volume of fat removed. Most patients report seeing results immediately after the procedure; with more defined results after three to four months. Overall, the amount of fat removed and number of areas treated will dictate your recovery speed.

What about future weight gain? Will fat migrate to other areas?

Once you have fat removed, it is gone. Assuming a healthy lifestyle of proper diet and exercise, it will not return or migrate. However, because fat is necessary to a healthy body, some essential fat layers in any given area remain untreated.

If you do experience weight gain or loss after your VASER Lipo procedure, it will tend to be proportionately distributed over your entire body. If you gain a significant amount of weight, the remaining fatty tissue will expand. Normal aging changes can also be expected.

How can I be certain VASER Lipo is right for me?

If you are frustrated with the resistance of certain body areas to diet and exercise, VASER Lipo may be the solution. If you are healthy and seeking a fast, low-pain way to lose stubborn fat deposits, the VASER Lipo procedure could be your answer.

How much does the treatment cost?

The total cost of your treatment will vary depending upon the number of body areas treated and the extensiveness of the procedure. Coming in for your consultation, and getting a full assessment by Dr. Pancholi will really help you understand what unique circumstances your body presents and what will help achieve your best result.
