Latisse Eyelash Enhancement Solution

logo-latisse-lrgLatisse is designed to cosmetically enhance your eyelashes. When applied to the base of the upper eyelids, the drug keeps lashes in their growth phase, causing them to become longer, thicker, and darker. Latisse was given FDA approval to treat patients with inadequate eyelashes—in clinical terms, a condition called hypotrichosis.

Latisse has been specially developed for cosmetic use. You brush it along the lash line, as you would with eyeliner, and the results of enhancement become noticeable after about 4 weeks.

Latisse was discovered in a surprising way! When doctors noticed that a glaucoma drug called Lumigan (also made by Allergan) made patients—as a side effect—grow long, beautiful eyelashes, the idea for Latisse was born. Bimatoprost is the key ingredient that causes this desirable effect.

Latisse is clinically proven to increase eyelash growth

Over 75 percent of patients reported significant eyelash growth in clinical trials with Latisse. On average, the patients exhibited lashes that were 25 percent longer, 106 percent fuller, and 18 percent darker. Results are not permanent; eyelashes begin returning to their original state if patients discontinue using Latisse.
