CNN Reports on Japanese Efforts to use Fat Grafting for Breast Augmentation


CNN News reported this week on a controversial new breast augmentation method that is gaining ground worldwide; stem cell assisted lipotransfer uses a patient’s own fat and stem cells to successfuly perform breast augmentation.

Japanese surgeon Dr. Kotaro Yoshimura appears on the news segment in support of his method, as well as a cancer survivor that was one of his patients. She says “I hope women are able to choose this type of surgery.”

According to the news program, clinical trials are underway in the United States.
