Filler Injections in Las Vegas

Many signs of aging in the face—fine lines and wrinkles, thinning lips, and hollow cheeks, to name a few—can be traced back to one thing: loss of tissue volume. Replacing this volume is key to achieving natural-looking facial rejuvenation, and injectable fillers can help accomplish this goal without surgery or downtime.

  • Volume Enhancement: Fillers can add volume to areas like the cheeks, lips, and under the eyes, creating a more youthful appearance.
  • Smoothing of Wrinkles and Fine Lines: Fillers effectively smooth out wrinkles and fine lines, particularly around the mouth, nose, and forehead.
  • Immediate Results: Unlike some cosmetic treatments that take time to show results, the effects of injectable fillers are often immediate.
  • Non-Invasive with Minimal Downtime: Fillers are a non-surgical option, requiring no significant recovery time, allowing patients to resume normal activities quickly.
  • Reversible and Adjustable: Some types of fillers can be dissolved if the patient is dissatisfied with the results or wants to adjust the appearance.
  • Natural-Looking Enhancements: When performed by skilled practitioners, fillers can provide subtle and natural-looking enhancements.
  • Convenience: Procedures typically take less than an hour, making them a convenient option for those with busy schedules.
  • Versatility: Fillers can be used for various purposes, from enhancing facial features to correcting asymmetry and rejuvenating the hands.
  • Biocompatibility: The ability of a substance, like dermal fillers, to be compatible with living tissue without causing an adverse reaction.
  • Collagen: A protein in the skin that provides structure and elasticity. Some dermal fillers stimulate collagen production to improve skin texture and volume.
  • Cross-Linked Hyaluronic Acid: A form of hyaluronic acid that has been chemically modified to last longer in the body, commonly used in dermal fillers for longer-lasting results.
  • Dermal Fillers: Injectable treatments used to restore facial volume, smooth out wrinkles, and enhance facial contours. They are typically made from substances compatible with body tissues.
  • Dynamic Wrinkles: Wrinkles that appear as a result of facial muscle movement, such as when smiling or frowning, often treated with neuromodulators like Botox rather than dermal fillers.
  • FDA Approval: The official certification by the Food and Drug Administration, indicating that a dermal filler is safe and effective for use in the United States.
  • Hyaluronic Acid (HA): A naturally occurring substance in the skin that provides hydration and volume. It’s commonly used in dermal fillers for its effectiveness and natural appearance.
  • Injection Site: The specific area of the face or body where dermal fillers are injected.
  • Lip Augmentation: The use of dermal fillers to enhance the size and shape of the lips.
  • Nasolabial Folds: The lines that run from the sides of the nose to the corners of the mouth, often treated with dermal fillers.
  • Non-Surgical: Procedures that do not involve surgery or incisions, such as the administration of dermal fillers, offering aesthetic improvements with minimal downtime.
  • Poly-L-lactic Acid: A synthetic substance used in certain dermal fillers, known for stimulating collagen production and providing long-lasting results.
  • Qualified Injector: A professional who is trained and certified to inject dermal fillers, ensuring safe and effective treatment.
  • Restylane® and Juvéderm®: Brand names of popular hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers.
  • Static Wrinkles: Wrinkles that are visible even when the face is at rest, often caused by the loss of collagen and elasticity in the skin and effectively treated with dermal fillers.
  • Volume Loss: The reduction in facial volume due to aging or other factors, often addressed with dermal fillers.

Who should perform dermal filler injections? Not just anyone.

Picture a prized sculpture. Its beauty is not due to the stone or clay from which it is made. Rather, it is the artist’s skill and vision that sculpts it to create a beautiful piece of artwork. The same is true of injectable fillers. The products themselves do not create a gorgeous result—the outcome depends entirely on who is performing the injection.

Subtle, natural improvements require an injector with years of training, experience, and a mastery of facial anatomy. It’s not just a matter of knowing how to perform injections—a provider must be able to detect subtle variations in a patient’s features to use precisely the right amount of filler, in the right locations, to enhance their appearance naturally. With this in mind, it becomes clear that choosing your provider for injectable filler treatments is much more important than choosing a certain product.

Dr. Pancholi performs filler injections personally for patients at Cosmetic Surgery of Las Vegas. As a diplomate of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery (ABCS) who is also board certified in facial plastic surgery, he has the surgical precision, aesthetic expertise, and knowledge of facial anatomy necessary to achieve an optimal outcome. Most importantly, his patients love their results.

  • Provide fuller lips
  • Restore fullness to hollow cheeks

  • Create a smooth, facelift-type jawline
  • Enhance results of a facelift, eyelid lift or brow lift without additional surgery or downtime
  • Rejuvenate aging hands
  • Minimize indented scars from acne, surgery or trauma
  • A non-surgical rhinoplasty or “liquid nose job”
  • Soften lines around the nose and mouth (marionette lines, parentheses, etc.)
Women - How Can Dermal Fillers Help?

Determining the right filler for your needs

Each filler offers subtle differences in consistency, chemistry and behavior. During your consultation, Dr. Pancholi will help you select the right product or combination of products to achieve your desired outcome, taking key factors into consideration:

  • Which areas you would like to improve
  • Your facial anatomy and skin elasticity
  • The degree of volume loss that needs correcting
  • Your previous history with fillers—treating a first-time patient calls for a different approach compared to a patient who has undergone filler treatments before
  • Your desired result and budget

In the end, the main considerations for you will be: A.) do you want something that lasts a shorter or longer period of time,  and B.) do you want something that is reversible? Those trying fillers for the first time may opt for the a shorter reversible product to see how it looks and then later move to something more long lasting.

One other thing to consider is we continually age overtime. Studies have shown that we lose about 1 cc of volume in our face (bone, muscle, and fat) each year after age 35. That can help us realize that 1 or 2 syringes (typically 1 ml per syringe) may not “catch us up” as well as we might have planned and more syringes may be needed. At the same time, it also puts into perspective the need for maintenance volume replacement as we age, with the idea of a natural look always as the goal.
