Breast Lift Las Vegas
Breast lift surgery can enhance your appearance and self-confidence. As time passes, pregnancy, nursing, weight loss or gain, and gravity can change the look of your breasts. Most women are concerned with a loss of elasticity, fullness, and shape. If you feel this way, rest assured you are not alone when it comes to making this emotional decision. A breast lift or mastopexy can correct this.
By reshaping, tightening, and removing the sagging breast tissue and loose skin, you can regain a firmer and perkier appearance. This alone can help get your self confidence back along with body that you once had, or always wanted.
For many patients, particularly post-pregnancy, having breast implants placed during a breast lift gives the best result. The implants can give more cleavage and fullness to the top of the breast. It’s a personal decision and all depends on the look you want.
Is a breast lift right for me?
The best breast lift candidates are healthy women who don’t smoke and have realistic expectations. Our goal is to maximize your results, physically and emotionally. Although you may feel this procedure can enhance your appearance and self-confidence, it’s important to remember that no one is perfect and many women choose to have this done. You are not alone.
It is important to understand that a breast lift is not permanent. The natural progression of time, weight fluctuations, pregnancy, changes in skin elasticity, aging, and the weight of your breast tissue or breast implants can naturally take a toll on its shape. However, the benefits prove to be a success for many women who choose surgery to improve their breast shape. It’s a choice many women feel has improved their emotional well being as well as their physical appearance.
What will my scars look like?
Several options exist for breast lift surgery and each has different associated scars. We understand that scars are a sensitive issue and we will do everything we can to minimize them and also give you the best shape. Your recommended breast lift will depend on how much lifting is needed to move your breast and nipple into the best position. Seems like a lot to consider, but with the artistic eye and compassion that is offered in your consultation, your mind will be put at ease.
Having your breasts placed where nature intended them to be, will move you in the positive direction of loving your body and your new look.
Breast Lift Surgical Options
During your consultation, Dr. Pancholi will recommend one of the three following types of breast lifts. Which one he will use depends on the degree of sagging you are experiencing now, which in turn determines how much skin needs to be removed.
Peri Areolar (Benelli) Lift – Best for minimal sagging
The Peri-Areolar lift, also called the Benelli lift, is used when minimal lifting is required. The lift and scar are focused around the areola. The lift is performed by removing a customized amount of breast tissue along the outside of the areola. This allows the areola and breast tissue to rotate upwards and create a lifted appearance. The tissue is then discretely stitched back together. The benefits of this lift are that it leaves minimal scarring and results in fairly even sized, shaped, and positioned areolas. The cons are that the breast may appear flatter and the areola may enlarge over time. This type of lift works well for women with very conical breasts or those who require minimal breast lifting.
Vertical (Lollipop) Lift – Best for moderate sagging
The Vertical lift (Lollipop lift) allows for narrowing of the wide breast and has more lifting power than a peri-areolar lift. It starts out similar to the peri-areolar lift by focusing around the areola. Next attention is directed to sagging tissue below the areola. A customized amount of tissue is removed from this area to dramatically lift and improve the shape of the breast. The tissue is then discretely stitched back together with a final scar around the areola and one extending from the bottom of the areola towards the infra mammary fold. The benefits of this lift are similar to the peri-areolar lift with added benefits of greater lifting, improved shape, and less flattening. The con is the vertical scar. Overall, scars on the breast heal well and with proper care the results are very nice. This is a commonly performed lift and great for women that have too much drooping for the peri-areolar lift, but not enough for the full Inverted T lift.
Inverted T (Full) Lift – For maximum lifting and reshaping
The Inverted T lift (Full Lift) allows for the maximum amount of lifting and customized shaping. Here your breasts are truly custom made as Dr. Pancholi is able to maximize your breast shape and size to its fullest extent. This lift is performed as the vertical lift but also addresses the inframammary fold. This extra point of attention places a scar in the inframammary fold, the same area many women have a scar from breast implant placement. Candidates for this lift typically include women who have breast drooping that will not be addressed well with a peri-areolar or vertical lift. The con of this lift is the additional scar. The benefits are that it maximizes the potential of your overall breast shape and position to its fullest extent.
