About Dr. Pancholi
Dr. Samir Pancholi is dedicated to providing his patients with the newest technology and highest quality of care. Armed with skilled hands, a keen eye for detail, an artistic mind, and an understanding and compassionate way, Dr. Pancholi is well suited for the demands of cosmetic surgery and desires of his patients. Dr. Pancholi received comprehensive medical and surgical training from institutions throughout the United States. Starting with medical school in Kirksville, Missouri, he was awarded with a scholarship and graduated in the top of his class. Next, he moved to Columbus, Ohio, where he interned at Ohio University’s Doctors Hospital. This was immediately followed by another move to Michigan, where he was selected to attend the five-year surgical residency-training program in Facial Plastic Surgery and Otolaryngology through The Michigan State University Health System.
Showing a high level of knowledge, surgical skills, and leadership capabilities, he was chosen to be the Chief Resident during the final three years of his attendance there. His medical training tour culminated in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he was selected for the coveted position of Fellow in Total Body Cosmetic Surgery (one of only sixteen such accredited programs in the United States).
It was during this time that Dr. Pancholi trained exclusively with board certified cosmetic surgeons, performing over 1200 cosmetic surgeries. He trained intensively in breast and body surgery, liposuction, and endoscopic surgery along with the newest minimally invasive techniques to complement his facial plastic surgery training and allow for comprehensive full body cosmetic surgery.
Throughout his career, Dr. Pancholi has taken time out to perform research and author multiple and award winning scientific papers. His dedication to teaching has been recognized by faculty appointments to multiple medical schools. Additionally, he has lectured and performed surgery at accredited educational courses recognized by the American Medical Association to both national and international surgeons on topics covering the face, breast, and body throughout the United States.
Dr. Pancholi has been selected by the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery as a media relations representative and has been quoted in the New York Times. The article, Want a Face-Lift? First, Better Stop Smoking, asked cosmetic surgeons what kind of help they offer patients who need to quit smoking.
Dr. Pancholi is a physician trainer for Evolence, the latest collagen-based dermal filler from OrthoNeutrogena.
